Awake

Awake is the fourth teaser off the Modern Man concept album. I'm going to post a demo every month in 2021, and the full album will be released in december 2021.

For James, days come and go, nights come and go, it seems all the same, as a continuous void. Then suddenly, a sound, a sound James had not heard in a very long time. The sound of a bird. How could that be? Birds went extinct decades ago - it certainly had to be a bot or a inspero-sound-gram? But James knows those sounds, this is different. This is the sound of a real bird, right now, right here.

James is listening carefully. The birds continues to sing. James spent a few decades immersed in music theory, and to him, this is clear - the birds are singing in D minor. The song was mesmerizing, beautiful. Could this be the beginning, or the end of something great?
